Although she has already wrapped up her final scenes, Money Heist star Úrsula Corberó told Efe she is not quite ready to bid farewell to her character Tokyo and insists she will keep her close to heart until she is prepared to let her go.

The popular Netflix show, which has changed the lives of the actors now famed for their red jumpsuits and Dali masks, returns to our screens Friday with the first half of the final instalment.

In an interview with Efe, Corberó chats about the most important character of her acting career so far and how the Spanish series has put itself in the international limelight.

QUESTION: How has your life changed thanks to Money Heist?

ANSWER: My life has changed in many ways, I won’t lie. The good thing is my friend group remains the same, and I always try to keep myself away (from public appearances). Our work is very intense and when we’re filming it’s a lot of hours. When we’re doing promotions, it's a lot of dedication and time… I think it’s good for me to be able to come back down to earth, to be with my family, my boyfriend, with my longtime friends. EFE
