Millions of people in China on Saturday observed three minutes of silence to pay their respects to people killed by the COVID-19, while air-raid sirens were switched on and cars, trains and boats across the country honked their horns as a mark of respect.

At 10 am, citizens silently lined up the sidewalks while motorists kept honking and emergency sirens installed all over the cities rang out.
