Argentina strolled to a 47-17 victory over the United States in the Rugby World Cup on Wednesday, a bittersweet triumph securing them a place at the next edition of the tournament when France hosts it in 2023 as their campaign in Japan this year comes to an early close.

The Pumas ended their time in Japan with 11 points in Group C behind England and France, with 15 and 13 points respectively, who both have a game left to play.
