Following Saturday’s training session, coach Ernesto Valverde revealed a 26-man list that will travel to take part in the pre-season Asian tour.

The list includes all 17 first-team players, including Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Neto, Nélson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Clément Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Samuel Umtiti, Jean-Clair Todibo, Sergi Roberto, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Carles Aleña, De Jong, Rafinha, Ousmane Dembele, Malcom and Griezmann.

Valverde also called up nine second-team players, including Japanese midfielder Hiroki Abe, who has joined Barcelona.

The reigning La Liga champion is set to play its first two pre-season games on Japanese soil; against Chelsea in Tokyo on July 23 and then Vissel Kobe in the central city of Kobe on July 27.

It will surely be emotional for former Barcelona players Pedro Rodríguez (Chelsea), Andres Iniesta, David Villa and Sergi Samper (Vissel Kobe), who will find themselves tackling their former teammates. EFE-EPA
