Daryl Impey has taken Sunday’s stage 9 of the Tour de France.

Tiesj Benoot finished second, followed by Jan Tratnik, Oliver Naesen and Jasper Stuyven.

The race took the pack on a 170.5-kilometer route from Saint-Etienne to Brioude.

Julian Alaphilippe managed to hold onto the yellow jersey as the leader of the general classification having taken it back from Giulio Ciccone on Saturday.
