Burkina Faso President Roch Kabore has resigned after the military seized power in a coup over the weekend.
Kabore, 64, stepped down from his post in a handwritten letter addressed to the new strongman, Lt. Col. Paul-Neiru Sandaogo Damiba, and read aloud on state broadcaster RTB at the stroke of last midnight. EFE
