United States President Donald Trump said Tuesday it was for India to tackle “individual” violent incidents after at least 13 people were killed in clashes over a controversial new citizenship law in Delhi during his two-day trip.

"I heard about the individual attacks but I did not discuss it (with Prime Minister Narendra Modi). It is up to India (to deal with it),” Trump told reporters as he was asked for a comment on the deadly clashes that have rocked parts of the Indian capital.
